2007 Kuyam 13 Moons Santa Barbara County | 550 cases produced
A Blend of 38% Merlot, 37% Cabernet Sauvignon, 13% Petite Verdot, 9% Cabernet Franc and 4% Malbec. Aged 18 months in 10% new wood before bottling. 13 Moons represents the native American lunar calendar. The high elevation of the Cuyama Valley is home to the Bordeaux vines that inspire the wines of Kuyam.
A big, full-bodied red with black fruit and smoke. Good grippy tannins and a satisfyingly long finish. Great paired with a hearty beef or stew.
