2006 Cuvee Fletcher Santa Barbara County | 3 barrels produced
A blend of 10% whole cluster, 82% Grenache and 18% Mourvedre from fruit farmed at 3200 feet. This is a special hand-picked vineyard and barrel selection. The wine is on skins for up to 35 days prior to pressing. Aged for 28 months in 1-3 year old French barrels prior to release.

The wine was dedicated to our oldest son and "Arrow Maker" Fletcher Cesarè Corey, born June 1st, 2005. It displays an incredible and rarely achievable combination of power and elegance. Drink it now or age it for another 7-10 years.

Rhone Report: Spending close to 28 months in barrel, the 2006 CORE Cuvée Fletcher Alta Mesa possesses deep, dark blackberry, black cherry, meat, resin and spice aromas, medium to full body and a long, tannic finish. 92 points and going up.
