2008 Cuvee Nolan Santa Barbara Highlands Vineyard
A blend of 60% Cabernet Sauvignon, 30% Cabernet Franc, 7% Petite Verdot and 3% Merlot. The name “Kuyam” comes from the Chumash meaning “A Place to Rest Together”.

It was dedicated to our son Nolan Michael Corey, born April 10th, 2007.


The high elevation of the Cuyama Valley is home to the Bordeaux vines that inspire the wines of Kuyam. Kuyam means a place to rest together in the native language of the Chumash Indians, which inhabited the area more than 400 years ago. The label was inspired by the many pictographs that still exist in the Cuyama Valley.
