Description Technical Specs
2007 Cuvee Nolan Santa Barbara Highlands Vineyard | 300 cases produced
A blend of 71% Cabernet Sauvignon, 20% Cabernet Franc, 5% Petite Verdot and 4% Merlot. The name “Kuyam” comes from the Chumash meaning “A Place to Rest Together”. Almost four years in 30% new wood before bottling.

An incredibly complex blend to amaze the palate. With the extra barrel age this wine has bloomed to incredible heights. This was one of our best sellers at our futures program.

It was dedicated to our son Nolan Michael Corey, born April 10th, 2007.

The high elevation of the Cuyama Valley is home to the Bordeaux vines that inspire the wines of Kuyam. Kuyam means a place to rest together in the native language of the Chumash Indians, which inhabited the area more than 400 years ago. The label was inspired by the many pictographs that still exist in the Cuyama Valley.
Critics Review
This blend of 74% Cabernet Sauvignon, 19% Cabernet Franc, 4% Petit Verdot, and 3% Merlot showed big body, nice tannins, barrel age, and black cherry all the way. Drink this with that prized barbecue brisket or beef bourguignon.
